How do I find comparable properties for my Cook County appeal?

For a uniformity appeal, comparables are nearby homes similar to yours in size, age, and style that the county assesses lower per square foot than yours — the assessments themselves are the evidence. For a market-value appeal, comparables are recent arms-length sales of similar homes below your assessed market value.
